We understand that while not everyone can make it to Memorial Stadium on Mondays, the good news is that you can walk anywhere and anytime during the month of October! Many asked about walking before school, during lunch breaks or doing their own “mini” walks at their building – YES, that all counts! 😊 We will have an active SurveyMonkey link at the beginning of October for you to input your steps/distance and HR will collect this info during the month to keep track of building results.

We coordinated the Monday dates and times with Facilities to work around the football practice schedule. Other days and times we tried weren’t available, unfortunately.

Thanks to those who provided the feedback, there are tons of choices! The range is from 60’s, 80’s, classic rock, country, top 40 hits, heavy metal and 2000’s pop! We will work on a playlist for the Memorial Stadium walks using these awesome suggestions.

YES! The more the merrier! Strollers and wagons are permitted on the track as well.

Unfortunately, pets aren’t allowed on the track but we’re sure they’d love to go for a walk when you get back!

Service dogs are allowed on the track.

No pedometer? Go to your App Store and download “MapMyRun” by Under Armor. It is a user-friendly app that can track your distance on the phone without needing a pedometer!

HR will send out a SurveyMonkey link each week in October for you to log your steps and/or distance. You will be able to submit your activity weekly and the results will be tracked by HR. We will be tracking the distance by building, as well as the top 3 employees for prizes at the conclusion of Walktober.
