Safety and Security

The safety and security of our students and staff is a top priority. The most effective way to increase safety in our schools is to encourage students, staff and families to say something if they see or hear something. Increasing safety on our campuses has required much work, planning and practice. We have added secure vestibules and access controls to school front entrances, installed automatic door locking mechanisms, and require people to identify themselves before entering our schools through a single point of entry. We have invested in high quality camera systems and a bus tracking system viewable in a moment’s notice. We have also practiced emergency drills to increase emergency preparedness.
