Dear Olympic Families,

There are students in our school that have severe allergies to some or all nut products. Exposure to even a tiny amount of these items could be very serious and life threatening. We can all play a role in preventing such a dangerous and frightening situation at school. The specific students and families must take responsibility to avoid exposure. However, all staff, children, and families can also help to make the school environment safe. 

Please check the list of ingredients in items you send to school for snacks, birthday treats, or in your child’s lunch. Avoid sending foods containing nut products or where nut products may have been processed.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you, but please realize how important your assistance is in this matter. We appreciate your help in keeping our students safe.
