Dear Skyhawk families. Students that are participating in football, volleyball, and/or Cross Country this year please refer to the following information. 

Athletic Office Opens on Wednesday, August 16 at 9 am for athletic and eligibility paperwork needs. The forms can also be found on our website at  https://mtsolo.longviewschools.com/athletics. All forms must be completed and turned in prior to participation.

Football (Students in Grades 7 and 8 Only)

Saturday, August 19 Gear Checkout

• 8^th Grade-10:00 am 7^th Grade-10:30 am
• Meet on the football field/track side of the gym and enter through the locker room doors nearest the track. 

Monday, August 21 First Practice 2:30 pm

• Dressed and ready to go. Helmets only for the first three practices. 

 

Volleyball (Students in Grades 7 and 8 Only)

Monday, August 28, 2:30 pm First Practice in the Gym

• Come dressed down and ready to participate. 

 

Cross Country (Students in Grades 6, 7, and 8)

Monday, August 28, 2:30 pm First Practice

• Come dressed with your own water bottle and ready to participate. 

 

More information regarding upcoming parent meetings, practice, and game schedules will be sent out later this month.
