Mark Morris High School is pleased and excited to announce Mike Peck as our new head Football Coach. Coach Peck brings to Mark Morris a wealth of experience and success as he takes over as head football coach pending school board approval. Mike began his coaching career in 2009 at East Valley High School in Spokane. His next stop was at Battle Ground High School where we worked for his father – Larry. In 2015 and 16 Battle Ground had the school’s first back-to-back winning seasons going 8 – 3 in 2015 and 7 – 2 in 2016.  In 2017, Mike became the Head Coach at Prairie High School. During the 2019 season, the Falcons won the GSHL 3A League title and were the leading 3A scoring team in the state of Washington. That year, Mr. Peck was selected as the National Football Foundation Gary Boggs Coach of the Year. For the past two seasons, Mike has been the offensive coordinator at Burley High School in Burley, Idaho.  During the 2022 season with Mike as the offensive coordinator Burley High School 82 points in a game vs. Preston High School and 84 points in a game vs. Canyon Ridge High School. 

 

Mike is a 2006 graduate of R.A. Long High School where he excelled in Football and Baseball. Mike’s father, Larry coached at R.A. Long High School, and his grandfather, Don began his teaching/ football coaching career in 1959 at Mark Morris.
