On Thursday, November 9th, 2023, Northlake Elementary and Mark Morris High School honor our country's veterans by having a flag-raising ceremony. At this ceremony, the Mark Morris band played several patriotic songs, including the Star Spangled Banner as three 5th grade students from Northlake Elementary raised the United States and Washington State flags on the Northlake flagpole. 

After that, they thanked the veterans who served our country and acknowledged the staff at Northlake Elementary and Mark Morris High School who served in our armed forces.
