On Monday, August 26th, 2024, Longview Public Schools hosted a heartwarming Welcome Back event to kick off the 2024-25 school year. During this special occasion, we were thrilled to introduce our new Superintendent, Dr. Karen Cloninger, along with many other new members of the Longview Public Schools team. We also took a moment to celebrate the remarkable employees who have dedicated 10, 20, and 30 years of service to our district.
Following these introductions and recognitions, we had the honor of hearing from our keynote speaker, Kristin Souers, the esteemed author of Fostering Resilient Learners: Strategies for Creating a Trauma-Sensitive Classroom.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for this memorable event, and we wish you all a fantastic start to the 2024-25 school year!
