Charles Hamilton Houston

It is the last week of Black History Month, and for this event, we would like to take a moment to honor Charles Hamilton Houston! Mr. Houston was an African American lawyer who was most well known for his role in tearing down the Jim Crow laws. Mr. Houston was instrumental in tackling the case of Brown v. Board of Education back in 1954. This was the case that changed the history of schools across the United States.

To read more about this amazing lawyer, take a look at NAACP's article on Charles Hamilton Houston as well as The National Museum of American History's webpage on the case of Brown v. Board of Education.
