On January 29th, 2026, 4th and 5th grade students at Longview Public Schools went to the Southwest Washington Symphony's Children's Concert at the Columbia Theatre for the Performing Arts. This concert included stories in sound, such as John Lithgow’s children’s tale “The Remarkable Sparkle McBride,” and songs from The Little Mermaid.
