All 3, 4, and 5 graders sign up to enjoy science fun & learning at the Annual Elementary Science Day Camp on Oct 11 (Non-school day). RAL Science Olympiad Club will lead your students through a series of fun and engaging activities designed to improve science and teamwork skills and understanding, in the safe, friendly environment of RAL High School. We guarantee your students will be challenged, engaged, and inspired! Featuring events in physics, chemistry, engineering, biomedical sciences, biology, and more. Think rockets, code breakers, forensics, lab experiments, and more.
About the Elementary Day Camp: R.A. long Science Olympiad team members, certificated coaching staff, and C.H.A.M.P volunteers will lead your student through a series of S.T.E.M. activities designed to improve science and teamwork skills and understanding, in the safe, friendly environment of R.A. Long High School. This camp is run by high school students and coordinated by RA Long Science Teachers/Science Club Advisors.
- Lunch will NOT be provided. Sending snacks with your students is strongly encouraged.
- You are responsible for dropping off and picking up your student within 15 minutes of camp start or end times. Pick up and drop off will take place at the side entrance of R.A. Long by the cafeteria. The parking lot will be marked with balloons.
- Please make sure the person picking up your student brings a valid I.D. and is designated as authorized to pick up your student. You are welcome to stay and observe the camp as long as you like.
Cost Information: The Elementary Science Day Camp is a fundraiser for the RAL Science Club. The cost of attendance is 25 dollars per student. If you would like to donate more than 25 dollars, we would appreciate it. All proceeds for this camp go towards purchasing equipment and supplies for our science club and competition against other high schools in Washington State.
Payment Information: Make checks payable to "R.A. Long ASB Science Club". Fill out this registration form and pay at the ASB Office at RAL High School during school hours. *We will not accept payments through the mail. Email us if you have questions.
