The U.S. Department of Agriculture has extended the free summer meal program for the rest of the year. What this means is Longview Schools will continue providing free meals to those who need them at selected schools and the four mobile pick up locations.

Meals will be distributed at the locations and times below. Both a breakfast and lunch will be distributed each day and the meals are free to any child age 0 to 18. The meals will be served Monday through Friday:

11:45am – 12:00pm: Archie Anderson Park & Baker’s Corner Convenience Store

12:00pm – 12:30pm: Northlake Elementary, St Helens Elementary, Mint Valley Elementary, Monticello Middle School, Columbia Heights Elementary, Kessler Elementary.

12:15pm – 12:30pm: Community House on Broadway & Youth and Family Link.

To accommodate working families, students do not need to be present to pick up meals. Parents, families member and guardians can pick up meals for students who are home attending to schoolwork.

Please remember, any child from birth to age 18 is eligible for free meals and the kids do not need to present to receive food. Please wear a face covering and practice physical distancing when picking up meals. If you have questions, or need information about the meal program extension, please call the district nutrition office at 360-575-7172.

 

Thanksgiving Break: 

Extra meals will be provided for pick up on Wednesday, November 25th for Thanksgiving Break. 

 

Winter Break: 

Meals will not be served December 19th-January 3rd for Winter Break. Extra meals will be provided for pick up on December 18th.  Meal distribution will continue after January 4th, 2021.
