April is National Occupational Therapist Month. For April, we at Longview Public Schools would like to feature each of our fantastic Occupational Therapists. They all do so much for the students in our community and we can't thank them enough for the work they do.
This week's Occupational Therapist is Rebecca Baumgardner, here is her bio.
"I have lived in the Cowlitz County area since 1983 after graduating high school. I attended LCC, then Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon where I received my Occupational Therapy degree. I have worked as an Occupational Therapist in the Longview School District since 1998. I enjoy working with children, and making a difference in their lives to improve their school experience. I have 2 daughters, ages 16 and 20, that have been a great blessing to me, and to their dad. We enjoy living in the outskirts of Kelso on 3 acres, where we share our home with 3 cats, 2 dogs, and some fish."
Stay tuned next week to learn about another wonderful Occupational Therapist!
