At their September 27, 2021 regular meeting, the Board of Directors:

  • Approved the consent agenda, which contained the  September 13 meeting minutes; the personnel report,contracts and personal service agreements, iGrants Form 217 Highly Capable Program Application for 2021-22 and warrants.
  • Heard concerns from Shawn Nyman, SEIU Representative, about the potential for staffing shortages come October 18 when the vaccine mandate comes into effect and how it will impact other staff and district operations. Expressed concern about the workload of school nurses and health room workers who have been tasked with added work due to the vaccine mandate. 
  • Approved the Exempt Team Agreement and the Assistant Superintendent Salary and Benefits for 2021-22.
  • Conducted a first reading on Policy and Procedure 3115 Students Experiencing Homelessness Enrollment Rights and Services.
  • Conducted a first reading on Policy and Procedure 4270 Requests for Disability Accommodations by Parents, Guardians, and Community Members.
  • Approved a timeline for the Replacement Capital and Technology Levy.
  • Heard a variety of subcommittee reports. 

The next regular meeting is scheduled for October 11, 2021, at 6:30 p.m.
