At their November 14, 2022, regular meeting, the Board of Directors:
- Approved the consent agenda which contained the October 24, 2022, regular meeting minutes, personnel report, and warrants.
- Heard Star Polisher recognition as follows: Monticello student Cheyanne Goldsberry stated that Mrs. Fowler is her Star Polisher because, "Ms. Jodi as she's called by most students has been there for me when I feel the need to talk to someone and she's always standing in her doorway when I walk by, just checking up on me and seeing how I'm doing. I greatly appreciate her because if I'm having a bad day, she is always there to cheer me up in some way, making sure that I am doing okay." R.A. Long student Tajsa Wetmore stated that Mrs. Ormond is her star polisher because, "Mrs. Ormond made a difference in my life by trying her best to make sure I succeed and graduate high school on time. She is very compassionate and loving towards her students. She is the best AVID teacher I could ever ask for and has impacted my life for the better. Mrs. Ormond is a star polisher.
- Heard a report on the success of several high school teams who made it to the state playoffs, including the R.A. Long girls' soccer team and the Mark Morris girls' volleyball team.
- Heard a demographics report.
- Adopted Policy 2413 Equivalency Credit Opportunities, and Policy and Procedure 3226 Interviews and Interrogations of Students on School Premises.
- Conducted a first reading on Policy and Procedure 3225 School-Based Threat Assessments, Procedure 2410 Graduation Requirements, and Policy and Procedure 3122 Excused and Unexcused Absences.
- Decided the board would discuss student representatives, policy procedures, dress code, the Wahkiakum lawsuit, volunteers and if time allows report on the WSSDA conference.
- The next meeting is scheduled for November 28, 2022, at 6:30 p.m.
