At their November 22, 2021, regular meeting the Board of Directors:

• Approved the consent agenda, which contained the November 8 meeting minutes, the personnel report, contracts and personal service agreements and warrants.
• Viewed a short video about Longview Public Schools that was recently produced by the Chamber of Commerce as part of promoting the Longview area to visitors and people considering moving to the area. 
• Recognized outgoing Director CJ Nickerson for his eight years of service on the Board of Directors, four of which were served as the President of the Board. 
• Heard a report on a recent levy awareness and perception survey.
• Reviewed updates to the replacement Capital and Technology Levy proposal that is being drafted for board consideration in December. 
• Heard the 2020-21 Year End Financial Report.
• Conducted a first reading on Policy and Procedure 6220 Bid or Request for Proposal Requirements.
• Appointed custodian LeeAnn Bolton and citizen CJ Nickerson to the Strategic Plan Review Committee for a three year term that ends December 31, 2023.
• Heard a report on the November enrollment. The district is currently down six students from budget.
• Heard a brief report on the August, September and October Final Budget Reports.
• Heard a variety of board subcommittee reports. 
• Were informed that the ESD112 will be holding a legislative forum on December 3, at 10:00 a.m. for superintendents and board members. Legislators from the region will be present to hear school district concerns. 

The next regular meeting is scheduled for December 13, 2021, at 6:30 p.m.
