At their December 13, 2021, regular meeting the Board of Directors:

•  Elected Don Wiitala as Board President and Jennifer Leach as Board Vice President for 2022.
• Set the date and times of regular meetings to the second and fourth Mondays of the month at 6:30 p.m. , with the exception of December 26, 2022. That meeting has been cancelled.
• Approved the regular meeting agenda and consent agenda. The consent agenda contained the November 22, 2021 regular meeting minutes, the personnel report and warrants. 
• Heard a report from the superintendent about the Strategic Plan Review Process where the SPRC committee met to review school improvement plans and tour all schools in the district.
• Heard a security report from the Director of Communications and Operations Rick Parrish.
• Heard a Title program report from Director of State and Federal Programs Amy Neiman.
• Conducted a first reading on Policy 3432 Emergencies.
• Approved revisions to Policy and Procedure 6220 Bid Requirements.
• Directed the superintendent to create a resolution authorizing a replacement Capital Projects and Technology levy to be placed on the April 26, 2022 special election, and with the levy to run for four years from 2023 through 2026,  with the amount of the levy to be set at $6.3 million in 2023, $5.5 million in 2024, $5 million in 2025 and $4.5 million in 2026. This levy provides funding for building repairs, maintenance and improvements as well as technology upgrades.

The next regular meeting is scheduled for January 10, 2022, at 6:30 p.m.
