At their August 14, 2023, regular meeting, the board:

• Approved the consent agenda which contained the July 24, 2023, regular meeting minutes, the August 1, 2023, special meeting minutes, a personnel report with addendum and warrants. 
• Heard how the superintendent intends to adjust the elementary school schedule to increase instructional time.
• Learned that new teachers will be in a week-long training at the district the week of August 14, an All-Staff Welcome Back is planned for August 23, and the first day of school starts on August 29. 
• Held a public hearing on the 2023-24 Budget and Four-Year Budget Plan. 
• Heard a Dual Credit Report.
• Approved revisions to Policy 2190 Highly Capable Program. 
• Adopted the 2023-24 Board Agenda Calendar.
• Approved Resolution 806 Adopting the Facility Study and Survey.
• Next meeting is August 28, 2023, at 6:30 p.m.
