At their February 13, 2023, regular meeting of the Board of Directors:

• Approved the consent agenda which contained the January 23, 2023, regular meeting minutes, the personnel report, and warrants. 
• Heard a safety and security update.
• Approved Resolution 799 Adopting the Cowlitz County Hazard Mitigation Plan.
• Approved the Longview School District's Hazard Mitigation Plan Update.
• Awarded contract for HVAC system upgrades at CVG and Mark Morris High School to Apex Mechanical LLC. 
• Approved the 2023-24 Budget Parameters.
• Held a first reading on Policy 3231 Student Records. 
• Approved Policy 1310 Policy Adoption, Manuals and Administrative Procedures.
• Approved revisions to Policy 3143 Notification and Dissemination about Student Offenses and Notification of Threats of Violence or Harm and suspended Policies and Procedures 3144, 4314, and 4315.
• Approved revisions to Policy 4210 Regulation of Dangerous Weapons on School Premises.
• Awarded the multi-site security vestibules project contract to Pacific Tech Construction, Inc for vestibules at Mt. Solo, Monticello and Cascade Middle Schools; and CVG, Columbia Heights and Broadway Learning Center. 
• Awarded contract to Blue Core Power LCC for the Kessler Elementary Fire Alarm Replacement project.
• Heard Legislative updates. 
• The next meeting is scheduled for February 27, 2023, at 6:30 p.m.
