TEMPORARY STUDENT SUMMER EMPLOYMENT
Temporary summer employment needs of the Longview School District shall be determined annually. Once district needs are identified, opportunities for student summer employment will be posted in all Longview schools as well as the administration office. Preference will be given to college students who are graduates of the Longview School District.
Once job openings are identified, students employed by the district the previous summer will be given first consideration. An individual student may work for the school district a maximum of four summers. Additional positions will be filled by a random drawing of qualified applicant names.
Students interested in summer employment shall fill out a job application form in the administration office. Applicants must be 18 years old by the starting date of employment. Individual job requirements will be considered in the selection process.
