PURCHASES

The annual budget is a controlled spending plan for the year of its adoption. The superintendent is authorized to make expenditures and commitments within budget limitations which are in accordance with board procedures and directions. All expenditures shall be authorized by requisitions signed as approved by the superintendent or designee.

It is the policy of the board to pay all valid certified claims against the district for goods and services received in as timely a manner as possible.

To this end, the board will, at each public meeting, give approval for payment of salaries and bills prior to the next scheduled board meeting, as well as formally approving warrant issues made since the last scheduled board meeting.
