Kindergarten Start

Individual “get to know me” meetings are scheduled with students, families, and teachers. Kindergarten families will be contacted by their elementary school to schedule their appointment. At this meeting, students will meet their teacher and see their classroom.

Kindergartners attend half days, either morning or afternoon, in small groups. This will support students as they get to know their teacher and peers, and learn daily routines. Check with your school in late August for transportation details.

Kindergartners begin attending school full days.
