Healthy Student Survey

The Healthy Youth Survey (HYS) is a collaborative effort of the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, the Department of Health, the Health Care Authority - Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery, and the Liquor and Cannabis Board. Traditionally the HYS was administered to grades 6, 8, 10, and 12 every other year on even years. The HYS was not administered in 2020 due to COVID-19, but was instead administered in October of 2021. The entire HYS is 130 pages in length and includes approximately 400 charts and graphs cross referencing the student responses to HSY survey questions and reported demographics.
